An expedition doctor must do more than publish papers about wilderness medicine. He must help prepare the team with the knowledge, skills and equipment to operate in high stakes environments. He must be a medical jack-of-all-trades and possess the grit to endure extreme environments with the team, without being a hinderence.
Expedition: Greenland chronicles the world’s first successful longitudinal, vehicle-based crossing of the Greenland Ice Sheet. Winching and clawing their way across more than 3,000 miles of grueling snow and ice, an international team of seven adventurers drove all the way to 82.5 degrees North—reaching what is widely considered the farthest northern dirt ever touched by a motor vehicle.
